Two Injured After Police Shooting In Sunset Beach
Authorities were called to respond to a shooting Monday afternoon at Third Street and South Pacific Avenue in Sunset Beach.
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA — An armed suspect was shot by Huntington Beach police Monday after the suspect was accused of injuring a victim, the Huntington Beach Police Department reported on Twitter.
A witness reported to CBSLA that a husband and wife out for a bike ride in Sunset Beach were shot at shortly after 12:20 p.m.

Authorities were called to respond to a shooting at Third Street and South Pacific Avenue in Sunset Beach, HBPD Public Information Officer Jennifer Carey told City News Service.

When officers arrived to the scene they found the armed suspect and a shooting occurred, the department reported. Both the victim and suspect were taken to the hospital, and the extent of their injuries is not currently known, authorities said. No officers were injured in the shooting.
