OC Man Found In Lake Havasu Identified By Sheriff's Office
The body of a Garden Grove man was found in Lake Havasu, Arizona after the man reportedly took a swim in the lake and never resurfaced.
GARDEN GROVE, CA — The body of an Orange County man was found in Lake Havasu, Arizona on Sunday after he jumped from a boat to go swimming and never resurfaced, Mohave County sheriff's deputies said.
47-year-old Michael Phan, of Garden Grove, was found in roughly 32 feet of water as a part of a drowning investigation, officials said in a statement.
According to the report, Phan had jumped from the boat on Saturday and never resurfaced. His body was moved to the Mojave County Medical Examiner's office to determine a cause of death, the sheriff's office said.
