About the Exhibition
The <a href="https://www.aamuseumgp.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Asian American Museum at Great Park</a>&nbsp;recently hosted a Juried Photo Art Contest to celebrate the storied images of Asian American life, creating a visual that highlights our vibrant Southern California Community.
Just as a mosaic is composed of countless unique pieces that, together, create a singular work of art, so too is our Asian American experience. Our identity is not a monolith, but a fluid diverse, multiracial, multigenerational spectrum.
This juried photography exhibition showcases the diverse Asian American experience through the lenses of both professional and amateur photographers. Our distinguished judges included professional photographers, artists, photo educators, and members of the media.
This exhibition celebrates the mosaic of Asian American identity - fluid, diverse, multiracial, and multigenerational. Join us in witnessing how photographers interpret and capture the vibrancy of the Southern California community.
The exhibition will be on display at the Bowers Museum in the John M. Lee Court from May 20 - 28 and will feature winning photographs and selected submissions.
Admission is free and open to the public.

The community is invited to come out to Amber Lanter Street on Thursday, May 28 for a FREE vibrant evening where The Ecology Center and the City of Dana Point transform the block into an organic market celebrating the season’s harvest with music and community!&nbsp; 

Guests can explore a curated selection of organic produce and floral arrangements from The Ecology Center’s Regenerative Organic farm stand, farm-fresh baked goods from their Campesino Café, live music and a selection of organic artisan’s and makers.&nbsp; 

For an interactive activity, Rivian will offer an opportunity for guests to test out their new e-bikes!&nbsp;

Burt Bacharach is an American composer, songwriter, record producer, and pianist who is widely regarded as one of the most important and influential figures of 20th-century popular music. He composed hundreds of pop songs, many in collaboration with lyricist Hal David. His 52 top 40 hits including "This Guy's in Love with You”, &amp; "Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head”, &amp; "(They Long to Be) Close to You”, “The Look of Love” and “What the World Needs Now is Love.” Bacharach and David also wrote the score for the 1968 musical Promises, Promises, which included "I'll Never Fall in Love Again".
