Fatal Santa Ana Crash Likely Involved Alcohol, Police Say
A man was killed early Saturday morning when his car crashed into a wall in Santa Ana, police said.
SANTA ANA, CA — A man was killed today when his vehicle crashed into a wall in Santa Ana, authorities said.
The crash occurred at 2:45 a.m. on Ross Street at McFadden Avenue, the Santa Ana Police Department said in a news release.
The vehicle was going southbound on Ross Street when the driver failed to stop at the intersection and crashed into a wall south of McFadden Avenue, police said.

Paramedics from the Orange County Fire Authority pronounced the driver dead at the scene. Alcohol was believed to have been a factor in the crash, police said. The driver was the only occupant in the vehicle.
