Fire Destroys OC Apartment Building, 11 People Displaced Wednesday

Orange County Fire Authority personnel reported over $2 million in damages after the blaze erupted Monday morning.

BUENA PARK, CA — Eleven residents were displaced early Wednesday morning after a fire erupted in an Orange County apartment complex, the Orange County Fire Authority reported.

The fire was reported at around 1 a.m. Wednesday morning in the 7700 block of 10th Street in Buena Park, authorities said. The fast-moving fire extended to another structure, and it took firefighters a little under an hour to quell the flames.

Orange County Fire Authority personnel reported an estimated $2 in structure damages, and an extra $250,000 damages in items.

No injuries were reported, authorities said. A cause for the fire has not yet been determined.
