'God, Forgive Me': Suspect Arrested In Fatal OC Stabbing, Hit-And-Run

A 27-year-old Fullerton man was arrested in connection with a stabbing that left one man dead followed by a hit-and-run, authorities said.

FULLERTON, CA — A 27-year-old Fullerton man was arrested after a brutal stabbing death followed by a hit-and-run in Orange County, authorities said Monday.

The violence happened just before 9 p.m. on Jan. 25, when police dispatchers at the Fullerton Police Department received a report about a man who had been stabbed and run over near the intersection of Euclid Street and Baker Avenue.

Upon arrival, police found a man in the roadway suffering from stab wounds.

The victim, identified as 42-year-old Anaheim resident Alen Sabah Odisho, died of his wounds. The driver behind the wheel of the car, later identified as Francisco Soriano Jr., immediately fled the scene.

Shortly after the stabbing incident was reported, the Buena Park Police Department received news of a hit-and-run traffic crash within their city limits, police said.

The hit-and-run happened next to Knott's Berry Farm, according to the Fullerton Police Department.

A man leaving the amusement park told KTLA that he witnessed Soriano's arrest and heard him muttering to himself while being apprehended by police.

"I was leaving Knott's Berry Farm and walking up the street here," he told KTLA. "There was a guy on the ground here. He was yelling out, 'God, forgive me,' as he was getting arrested. Then they put a spit hood over his head."
