Lori Butler, CFRE will Serve as New Chief Development and Marketing Officer Leading the Nonprofit's Social Service Efforts in Five Counties

Lutheran Social Services of Southern California (LSSSC) - a leading provider of social services programs in Southern California – selected Lori J. Butler, CFRE as its Chief Development and Marketing Officer. Butler will oversee the nonprofit’s fundraising, marketing and donor development including a 38 million-dollar capital and building campaign for a Community Wellness Center in the City of San Bernardino

Licensed in six counties, Lutheran Social Services provides local programs and case management, a food pantry, housing counseling, peer training programs and assistance to victims of domestic or other forms of violence.

“I first learned of LSSSC from the incredible mental health services they provide in the remote areas of the San Bernardino Mountains. I met families who literally had loved one’s lives saved by their program. To be able to share real-world help with others and openly do so while sharing the love of Christ is truly the pinnacle of my 30-year career in nonprofit leadership,” said Butler.

Today, LSSSC employs almost 200 caring and dedicated staff that deliver more than 30 programs across six counties. Ignited by faith, we live out God’s love by embracing, equipping and empowering vulnerable people in Southern California.
