Man, 84, Fatally Struck By Hit-And-Run Vehicle In OC

ANAHEIM, CA — An 84-year-old man was struck and killed by a hit-and-run vehicle Monday morning in Anaheim, police said.

Officers were dispatched to Anaheim Boulevard and Cerritos Avenue at about 5:30 a.m. Monday after receiving reports of a person lying on the ground.

Police found the victim suffering from severe traumatic injury, according to the Anaheim Police Department.

Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The identity of the victim was not immediately released.
