Minivan Smashes Through OC Apartment Wall, Critically Injures Woman
Authorities are searching for a man who fled on-foot after he allegedly reamed a minivan through an apartment Monday night.

SANTA ANA, CA — Authorities Tuesday were searching for a man who allegedly crashed a minivan into a Santa Ana apartment complex, leaving after hitting a woman and leaving her in critical condition.
Orange County firefighters were called at 10:20 p.m. Monday to the 1600 block of West Memory Lane in response to reports of a fire.
There, they found a woman inside a unit of the complex with smoke but no fire, authorities said.

Witnesses at the scene told Santa Ana Police officers the driver of the minivan was driving at a high rate of speed and left the area, possibly with a passenger, after crashing into the apartment unit.
A woman was found injured at the scene and taken to an area hospital in an unknown condition. Her identity was not known.
