ORANGE COUNTY, CA — The community is mourning an Orange County mother who stood as a symbol of resilience in the face of trial.

Lori Coble, the Orange County mom who became a symbol of resilience after losing her three kids in a freeway crash almost 20 years ago, has died following a battle with brain cancer, KTLA reported.

Coble and her husband were originally thrust into the public eye in 2007 after their children were killed in a crash on the 5 Freeway in Southern California.
