14-Year-Old Suspect In Custody For Irvine Spectrum Gunpoint Robbery
The teen and one other suspect are accused of using a gun to steal shoes off of a group of teenagers in an Irvine Spectrum Center bathroom.

IRVINE, CA — A 14-year-old boy was arrested Wednesday in connection to an armed robbery that occurred in a bathroom at the Irvine Spectrum Center Monday, June 26.
The teen, who was not identified by police, was arrested in South Orange County Wednesday, authorities said.

According to the Irvine Police Department, one suspect involved in the robbery is still at large.

Authorities sought the public's help Wednesday, June 29 in finding the two suspects who, according to police, used a handgun to rob four minors in an Irvine Spectrum Center bathroom.
Police said the incident happened at around 9:22 p.m. June 26 at the Spectrum Center. The scene was partially captured on surveillance video posted to the Irvine Police Department's Twitter feed.

According to authorities, the minors were followed into the restroom by two suspects who demanded their shoes.

The first suspect displayed a handgun, police said. He has not yet been identified by police.
The first suspect was described as a Hispanic male between 15 and 20 years old. He stands at 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs roughly 150 pounds.
He was wearing a black baseball cap with a red emblem, a black fanny pack, a gray tank top, black pants and white shoes, police said.
After the robbery, video footage appeared to show the suspects leaving through the parking lot of the center carrying shoes.
There was no word what charges the arrested juvenile suspect will face.
