Two 18-Year-Olds Shot Wednesday In North OC, Info Sought By Police
The young men were shot in Midway City Wednesday, and Orange County Sheriff's deputies are looking for more information.
ORANGE COUNTY, CA — Two young men were hospitalized in stable condition Wednesday after an early morning shooting in Midway City.
Deputies were sent to the 1500 block of Van Buren Street at around 12:05 a.m. early Wednesday morning, the Orange County Sheriff's Department reported.
Responding deputies found one victim, an 18-year-old man, shot at the scene. He was taken to a local hospital, where deputies found a second victim, another 18-year-old man, also being treated for gunshot wounds. The second man was believed to be a part of the same shooting, authorities said.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting were under investigation. It was not immediately clear if the two victims knew each other.
