Video Shows Child Struck By Cadillac In OC, Hit-And-Run Driver Sought
Authorities asked for the public's help in finding the driver who reportedly injured a child with his car in Orange County.

SANTA ANA, CA — Authorities sought the public's help Wednesday in identifying a hit-and-run driver who injured a child crossing a residential street in Santa Ana.
The hit-and-run happened March 29 at around 1:36 p.m., Santa Ana police said, when two children were crossing the street from the sidewalk in the 700 block of S. Birch Street.
While crossing, a black older-model Cadillac traveling south struck them. The driver did not stop and continued driving southbound, police said.

Ring video footage captured the hit-and-run, police said. The video shows two children crossing a street before one of the children is struck by a black car. He flies up into the air before hitting the ground.
The child, who was not identified by authorities, was taken to the Children's Hospital Orange County with moderate injuries.

The hit-and-run car was described as an early 2000s black Cadillac DeVille with chrome rims, a chrome metal trim and tinted windows.
