Woman, 94, Critically Missing In South OC: Have You Seen Shirley?

She was reported missing Sunday, after leaving her San Juan Capistrano home on foot at about 5 p.m., authorities said.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA — Orange County sheriff's deputies asked for the public's help Monday in finding a 94-year-old woman who left her home Sunday on foot in an unknown direction.

Shirley Airth left her San Juan Capistrano home at around 5 p.m. Sunday and since then, has been considered "critically missing" by authorities.

She was last seen wearing a yellow and white shirt and black sweater with white sparkles. Shirley was using a black metal cane when she left her home.

She was described as a 94-year-old white female standing at five feet, six inches and weighing 160 pounds. She has light gray hair, hazel eyes and also goes by the name "Jean," authorities said.

Residents who have information about Shirley's whereabouts were asked to call the OCSD dispatch at 714-647-7000.
