Woman Dies After Car Goes Airborne, Crashes Into Tree In Yorba Linda

YORBA LINDA, CA — A woman was killed in Yorba Linda after her car went airborne and crashed into a tree on Sunday, the Orange County Register reported.

The crash was reported at around 12:40 a.m. near Yorba Linda Boulevard and Summit Drive, according to reports.

The woman, who was not identified by authorities, was driving her Lexus in the area when her car hit a curb, went airborne and struck a large tree. OCSD Sgt. Scott Steinle told the OC Register that speed was a factor in the crash.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported, authorities said.
