Oxnard man charged with murder in crash killing two bicyclists on PCH (bluewaterhealthyliving.com) — An Oxnard resident has been charged with second-degree murder after a pickup he allegedly drove under the influence struck three bicyclists on Pacific Coast Highway near Ventura, killing two and injuring a third. Prosecutors say he’d previously been warned about the deadly risks of impaired driving, and he’s now being held in Ventura County jail with a court hearing set for June 22. 
2. 2026-2027 Grand Jury Panel Selected (vidanewspaper.com) — Ventura County judges have nominated 36 residents, including holdovers from last year, to form the pool for the 2026–2027 civil grand jury that helps oversee county government affecting Oxnard. Nineteen jurors and eleven alternates will be randomly selected in a public court session on July 1, when the outgoing panel will also present its final report.
