Pacifica National Little League (PNLL) hosts its second year of sandlot-style Fall Ball starting Sunday at 9 a.m. All players are welcome and the event is open to Little Leaguers in other cities and other leagues, including Pacifica American Little League. PNLL sees the Fall Ball program as a unique opportunity for kids to get their first taste of baseball at the AA and Minors level, while also providing an opportunity to tune up their skills.
5th Annual Pacifica Chili Cook-OffThe 5th Annual Chili Cook-off benefits the historic Pedro Point Firehouse. Enjoy all you can eat chili and sides, music and a no-host bar. Event features delicious recipes prepared by local restaurants and home chefs who enter to win awards in categories, including Best Restaurant Chili, Best Home Chef Chili, Best Non-Traditional Chili and People's Choice. Past restaurant winners include The Surf Spot, Vallemar Station and Gorilla BBQ. Event starts at noon; winners announced by 3:30. Tickets can be purchased at the door.

The Plastic Onion Band celebrates the music of the Fab 4 at Winters Tavern Sunday evening. Come by and hear this excellent band dish up some tasty Beatle hits starting at 4 p.m. No cover charge. The Plastic Onion band is based out of Pacifica and is available to play private parties or events throughout the Bay Area an Northern California.
