CALL FOR ENTRIES - 8TH ANNUAL SANCHEZ ART CENTER 50|50 SHOW

Sanchez Art Center seeks California artists (18 and older) for its 8th annual 50|50 Show, which takes place Aug 26-Sept 18, 2016. Accepted artists will create 50 small works (6" x 6") over the course of 50 days. Each artist chooses a theme for their 50 pieces, and uses a single medium throughout the 50-piece series. Creation of works by participating artists will begin June 6 and end July 25, 2016.

ENTRY DEADLINE: Tues, May 10, 2016. Entries must be submitted online to Café (callforentry.org) by 11:00 pm Pacifica Standard Time. Search for "8th Annual Sanchez Art Center 50|50 Show."

JUROR: Serving as juror is Brian Gross of Brian Gross Fine Art in San Francisco.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT: Benefits of participating include an intense creative experience, being part of a great exhibition of over 3,000 works and an estimated audience of 1,000 or more viewers; fellowship with other artists; and a spectacular opportunity to make works available for sale to people who might not be able to afford your larger pieces.
