'Below Average' Temps In Pacifica, Rain Possible Soon: Mother's Day Forecast

If you're planning for your weekend in the Bay Area, be prepared to bring along a light sweater on any excursions. National Weather Service forecasters say we can expect "cooler than normal" temperatures, along with some breezy onshore winds.

Come next week, there's a chance that it'll rain again.

"While most areas will remain dry through the weekend, there is a slight chance of rain region-wide late Monday into Tuesday as another system approaches from the north," the NWS said Friday. "A warming trend is then expected late in the forecast period as a result of building high pressure."

As for Pacifica in particular, here's what you can expect around town for the next several days, according to the National Weather Service:

Mostly sunny, with a high near 57. Breezy, with a west northwest wind 17 to 22 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph.

Friday Night
Partly cloudy, with a low around 47. Breezy, with a northwest wind 21 to 24 mph, with gusts as high as 33 mph.

Saturday
Mostly sunny, with a high near 57. West northwest wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.

Saturday Night
Partly cloudy, with a low around 47. West northwest wind 17 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph.

Sunday
Partly sunny, with a high near 58. West northwest wind 18 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.
