PACIFICA, CA – Pacifica police are asking for the public's help with finding a vehicle believed to be connected to a series of home break-ins in the area. Jewelry, laptops, tablets and other electronics were all stolen Monday in Pacifica in five home burglaries that appear to be connected, police said.

All the burglaries occurred between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. and at least three of the five were in the same area, according to police.

Officers say in one of the cases, which was reported around 12:55 p.m., a witness saw two people running from a local home's backyard – with stolen property in tow. Police responded to the location, in the 200 block of Stanley Avenue, to find that the rear glass door to a home had been broken and the home's residents told police some items were taken.
