This 23rd anniversary event takes place on the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi, the Patron Saint of Animals. BUMC&nbsp;Pastor Ann Duncan and SpiritCare ministers will&nbsp;bless&nbsp;the pets, and each&nbsp;animal&nbsp;that is&nbsp;blessed&nbsp;will receive an attractive certificate.&nbsp;Everyone who attends will be given a lovely St. Francis&nbsp;Blessing&nbsp;of the&nbsp;Animals&nbsp;prayer card and will have an opportunity to win&nbsp;a beautiful portrait of their beloved pet created by a talented&nbsp;painter.&nbsp;Representatives from the Companion&nbsp;Animal&nbsp;Community Center,&nbsp;Homeless Cat Network, Peninsula Humane Society, and SpiritCare Ministry to Seniors will be there to greet you.&nbsp;This fun, family-friendly event gives you an opportunity to adopt a pet and give it a forever home.
