Deck of Daly City Apartment Building Catches Fire
Firefighters kept the fire from burning no more than the deck and siding, according to fire officials.

DALY CITY, CA – Firefighters extinguished a fire Friday afternoon that was burning the rear deck of a Daly City apartment, fire officials said.
Firefighters responded at 1:22 p.m. to 165 Miriam St. where they saw smoke and flames coming from a three-unit, 3-story apartment building. A crew entered the building and found the fire coming from a second floor deck. Firefighters kept the fire from burning no more than the deck and siding, according to fire officials.
A crew checked for any extension and they completed overhaul and mop up operations in about two hours.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Fire officials did not say whether anyone was injured.
