Early Morning Shooting Leaves Bullet Holes in Pacifica Home

Police received reports of gunfire at around 4 a.m. but could not locate the crime scene.

Police are investigating a Wednesday morning shooting in which the suspect fired rounds at an occupied home in Pacifica.

Police responded to the vicinity of Catalina Avenue and Rutland Drive around 4:05 a.m. on reports of gunfire, but officers were unable to locate a crime scene.

Around 7 a.m., a resident on Brookhaven Court reported finding bullet casings in the street and bullet holes in the siding of a neighboring home, according to police.

Investigators contacted the home’s occupants and found that no one had been injured in the shooting. Officers do not believe other nearby homes are in danger or are being targeted, according to police.
