The Pacifica Beach Coalition is turtley excited to announce the beginning of a new tradition – the Earth Day Window Painting Contest!  Pacificans of all ages are welcome to enter the contest.  Entrants may be an individual or team of up to three (3) people.  Windows will be evaluated by a panel of judges based on:  Creativity, Artistic Appeal, Representation of the Earth Day Theme (Be Turtley Cool – Take Action for Earth Day), and Adherence to Contest Rules.  Up to three Awards of Merit will be presented for each age category. 

Designated windows in Eureka Square Shopping Center will be painted over the weekend of Saturday, April 14 - Sunday April 15.  

Awards will be announced at the Pacifica Beach Coalition Earth Day Celebration on Saturday, April 21, south parking lot at Pacifica State Beach, Linda Mar. 

$10 Donation to the Pacifica Beach Coalition - Earth Day Activities.

Paint is provided -- you bring your inner artist, environmental message and community spirit along with:  Assorted paint brushes; container for water; newspapers and / or drop clothes for protecting storefront, sidewalk, etc; rags for cleaning brushes and wiping up paint; step stood if necessary (no large ladders); box or reuseable bag for carrying items to and from the window painting area; appropriate clothes for painting and our Pacifica climate!.  Bring your own lunch -- OR better -- purchase from Oceana Market, our event sponsor.
