Fishing for Words: Pacifica Pier Poetry WAlk/LITWAVE Event

Spend the afternoon creating poetry!!!!!  The community is invited to "cast a few lines" by writing their own poems or lines of prose by observing the piers stenciled directions to fisherman: two lines per person.  At designated intervals participants will be asked to walk the pier and write two lines of poetry at each stop. All ages and experience are welcome. At the end of the walk each participant may submit their poems for the Pacifica Pier Walk Poetry Prize.  Free event will also feature a bbq, crabbing demonstration and beverages for purchase at the Chit Chat.  Live music (sea shanties) will be provided by the Seaside Singers.
