PRESS RELEASE For Immediate Release: “Photographic Minimalism: a retrospective” Myles Kleinfeld

Award-winning photographer Myles Kleinfeld will be exhibiting “Photographic Minimalism: a Retrospective” at the Sanchez Art Center October 14, 2011-November 20, 2011. The public is invited to attend the opening reception at the Sanchez Art Center on Friday, October 14, 2011, 7-9p.m.

“Photographic Minimalism” is a reflection of literal presence. It is a movement in art which rejects the need for social commentary, narrative, context and meaning. It doesn't symbolize anything. At the same time, Kleinfeld invites his audience to formulate their own individual interpretations and analyses as to the relationships between the various elements within each piece.
