Join Tango No. 9 for a romantic evening of tango music – with a preview of the works from their 4th album, Tango No. 9, Live at the Columbarium. This special evening in Pacifica will be the beginning of their west coast tour celebrating the July release of the long awaited new CD. Accordion and Bandoneon player, Isabel Douglass, straight from Europe, will join together with the Tango No. 9 Trio to create a chimerical evening filled with passionate Piazzolla and the fiery rhythms of this romantic music. With its unique instrumentation of violin, trombone, piano, and accordion, bandoneon, vocals, and four fantastic dancers, Tango No. 9 embraces both a reverence to tango’s seductive past and an innovative vision of the music’s storied future.
