Bring your camera and join Edwin Hacking an accomplished travel and nature photographer. He has been teaching custom photography classes through “Play” and the Pacifica Parks and Rec . Dept. and now from his home in Pacifica.

Edwin will lead the group in demystifying the buttons, knobs, and menus of your camera. He will cover the basis functions of the camera weather you own a point & shoot or DSLR camera system.

The areas he will cover will include, exposure compensation, mode dial settings, how ISO effects your exposure,
the importance of correct white balance, use of fill-in flash,
using the shutter and aperture in a creative way, manual vs.
auto settings, and much more.

Edwin has been in the media arts field most of his life. Starting with photography as a hobby which turned into a job
as a medical photographer. Edwin continued his schooling by
receiving a B.A degree in Film making and an M.A in Educational
Technology.

His visual interest in photography eventually led into the area of
video production. Working as a producer/director for major
companies such as Sun Microsystems, Oracle, Transvideo Studios, HP, and Google.
