PACIFICA, CA- The driver of a Recology of the Coast garbage truck suffered minor injuries Friday afternoon in Pacifica when the truck's brakes apparently failed, police said over the weekend.
Officers were dispatched at 12:24 p.m. to the Pedro Point Shopping Center on a report of an injury accident involving a garbage truck.
Officers learned that the driver of the truck was in the 1500 block of Grand Avenue when the brakes apparently failed, according to police. The driver maneuvered the truck down the street into a field and neither was anyone hurt or nor was anything damaged.
