Heavy Rain, 37 MPH Winds In Pacifica: Work Week Forecast
"An approaching storm system is expected to be the strongest so far this season, producing periods of heavy rain & strong winds," NWS says.

PACIFICA, CA — Peninsula residents can expect a strong dose of rain Monday — and part of Tuesday — before the skies clear, according to the latest forecast for the region.
"An approaching storm system is expected to be the strongest so far this season, producing periods of heavy rain and strong winds, especially later today and tonight," the National Weather Service said on Monday morning. "Showers will continue into Tuesday. Dry and mild weather is forecast for the second half of the week and into the upcoming weekend."
Here's the National Weather Service's forecast for Pacifica for the work week:
Monday
Rain. The rain could be heavy at times. High near 60. Windy, with a south wind 9 to 19 mph increasing to 20 to 30 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 37 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.

Monday Night
Rain, mainly before 4am. The rain could be heavy at times. Low around 54. South wind 16 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
Tuesday
A chance of rain before 10am, then a chance of showers after 10am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 58. Southwest wind 6 to 11 mph becoming west northwest 13 to 18 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Mostly cloudy, with a low around 51. Windy, with a northwest wind 28 to 30 mph, with gusts as high as 38 mph.

Mostly sunny, with a high near 59. Breezy, with a north northwest wind 17 to 22 mph decreasing to 11 to 16 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph.
