A Daly City man charged with killing his estranged wife earlier this month pleaded not guilty Thursday to murder, according to San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe.
Daniel Thomas, 65, is due back in court on May 28 to set a preliminary hearing date. He remains in custody without bail.
Thomas has been charged with killing Ruby Gim, 65, after she was found dead on the morning of May 1 at her home in the 400 block of Florence Street.
Police said Thomas, who had a domestic violence restraining order to stay away from Gim, was found at the residence following the murder.
He was initially arrested on suspicion of violating the order and his probation, according to police.
