Man With Gun Sticking Out Of His Pants Arrested For Public Intoxication In SMC: Police
Police said they received a call about a man with a gun in the front of his pants.
COLMA, CA β A 28-year-old Colma man was arrested after officers responded to a suspicious person seen with what appeared to be a gun, police announced Monday.
At around 12:20 p.m. on Feb. 15, Colma Police Department officers said they were dispatched to the area of Junipero Serra Boulevard and Serramonte Boulevard after receiving a call that a man was walking in the area with a gun tucked into the front of his pants.
Officers found a man matching the description walking eastbound in the 600 block of Serramonte Boulevard. Police said they saw an object resembling a gun in his front waistband.

The man complied with officers' commands to put his hands in the air and get on his knees, and he was detained in handcuffs, police said.
Police said they pulled a Glock imitation BB gun from the front of his pants.

Officers said they smelled a strong odor of an alcohol on the man and found an opened can of Twisted Tea and an unopened can of beer on him.
The Colma resident was arrested on charges of displaying an imitation firearm in public and being drunk in public, police said.
He was booked into the San Mateo County Jail, police said.
