Mid-Week Smile: Dancing Pelican: Pacifica Photo Of The Week

PACIFICA, CA — "Dance like no one's watching," as the saying goes. And, to be sure, this feathered friend took the advice and, lucky for us, Patch reader Maryann Tomola recently was there to snap this sweet photo at Rockaway Beach in Pacifica.

What spurred this pelican to do a jig, we'll never know. But we love the middle-of the work-week smile the photograph brings.
