Military Appreciation Day in Pacifica

Pacifica's American Legion Post 238 and the VFW announces "MILITARY APPRECIATION DAY" to be held at Surf Spot in Pacifica located at 4627 Highway One in Pacifica (same parking lot as the Sea Bowl bowling alley) on June 14th (Flag Day). We invite ALL veterans so the we can show our appreciation for your service! The public is invited to join in! Announcements will be from 12:30 to 1pm with a live band afterwards. Bring your friends and family! Surf Spot Restaurant will have food and drinks available for purchase. Join in on a volleyball game or just sit and enjoy the band. Pass this on to any veteran that you know!! Informational tables will be set up with info on the American Legion, VFW and American Legion Woman's Auxiliary. We will also have a table for you to bring donations for our next "Packing Day" to send care packages to the troops serving overseas. Items to bring to donate for the care packages include: gum, breath mints, shavers, shaving cream, beef jerky, breakfast protein bars, white socks, small sunscreen tubes, fruit cups, tuna in foil packets, packets of crystal light powder flavored drink mixes for their bottled waters.
