Missing 'At Risk' Peninsula Woman, 83, Sought
San Mateo County sheriff's officials say the elderly woman hasn't been seen since stepping off a charter bus in San Mateo.

SAN MATEO, CA- The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding an at-risk elderly woman who hasn’t been seen since she got off a bus in San Mateo over the weekend.
According to Det. Salvador Zuno, 83-year-old Katsuko Frank stepped off a charter bus in front of the Hayward Park Caltrain Station in San Mateo on Sunday, at around 7 p.m.
“Ms. Frank who lives in an unincorporated area of San Mateo County never made it home,” the detective said in a news release Monday night, adding that a family member reported the woman missing Monday mid-day.

The woman has a medical condition that requires she take medication, according to Zuno.

“According to the charter bus employee she was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket with fuzzy brown lining and sleeve cuffs,” Zuno said. “A white shirt, dark brown pants, dark shoes, and carrying a large white handbag and a large black handbag.”
