Missing Teen Was Supposed To Meet Friend In Pacifica: Police
Sheriff's officials say the teenager has been missing for over a week now.

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — San Mateo County sheriff's officials are asking for the public's help with finding a teen who has been missing since Dec. 18. The 19-year-old walked away from his father's home in Moss Beach that night and hasn't been seen since.
According to sheriff's officials, Gilchrist left around 11 p.m. that nigh after telling his dad he was going to spend time with a friend in Pacifica. He never arrived and officials say he left his vehicle at his father's house and is assumed to have walked away from the residence.
Gilchrist's cellphone has been turned off, sheriff's officials said.
