Motor Officer Hospitalized Following Daly City Wreck
Officials say the police officer was taking part in a training escort in Daly City.

DALY CITY, CA — A San Francisco police motorcycle officer was struck and injured by a vehicle while on a training escort in Daly City Wednesday morning, a police spokeswoman said.
The collision occurred around 11:15 a.m. in the area of John Daly and Skyline boulevards, just south of San Francisco city limits, San Francisco police spokeswoman Officer Giselle Linnane said.
The officer was taken to a hospital to be treated for injuries that are not considered life-threatening, Linnane said.
