Pacifica Firefighters Battle Morning Structure Fire

PACIFICA, CA — North County Fire Authority Firefighters battled a morning structure fire in Pacifica, the department announced on Saturday.

Multiple crews responded to the fire in the 1000 block of Galvez Drive at approximately 9:41 a.m.
Crews could see heavy smoke and fire coming from the building. In all, five fire companies tackled the blaze, the Pacifica Fire Department said.

Firefighters carried out possible search and rescue operations but no occupants were inside the structure. Neither firefighters nor members of the public were injured.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
