Pacifica Firefighters Rescue Young Girl From Burning Home
They used ladders to get to the girl and safely rescued her, fire officials said.

Firefighters rescued a young girl from a burning Pacifica home on Wednesday afternoon, fire officials said.
The house fire at 402 Andover Drive was reported at 12:46 p.m., according to the North County Fire Authority.

Firefighters responded and found smoke coming from the home and were told that a young girl had not escaped and remained in a rear bedroom.
They used ladders to get to the girl and safely rescued her, fire officials said.

Firefighters entered the home with hoses and contained the fire to the garage. There was smoke and heat damage to the rest of the house, but most of the property damage was kept to the garage.
A firefighter suffered a minor injury while battling the blaze and was taken to a hospital but was quickly released, fire officials said.
No civilians were injured. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
