Pacifica Launches 2022 Beautification Awards

PACIFICA, CA — Are you proud of an exceptionally kept lawn? Do your neighbor’s rose bushes brighten your day?

If so, you can submit a nomination for the 2022 Pacifica Beautification Awards, run by the city’s Beautification Advisory Committee. The awards aim to “recognize pride in Pacifica and encourage the efforts of community members in beautifying and improving homes, buildings, and properties located within Pacifica,” according to nominating documents.

Applications are being accepted throughout the year.

Nominations can include residential, commercial, and mobile properties. Eligible buildings must be visible from the street, occupied and not for sale, and not in the process of remodeling.

A panel of volunteer committee members will screen and review the entries to select the winners. Winners will be announced at a future Pacifica City Council meeting.
