Pacifica Mayors' Beautification Awards -- Application Time OPEN for 2016

Residents and businesses invited to show their "curb appeal". Nominations are being accepted through October 12.

The Beautification Advisory Committee is asking for nominations for the third annual Mayor’s Pacifica Beautification awards for Pacifica residences and business that show their “curb appeal” which helps keep Pacifica Beautiful. You can nominate any business or residence in Pacifica. A PBAC member might also knock on your door because you have a beautiful landscape or structure and ask you if you would like to participate. http://www.cityofpacifica.org/...

The purpose of the awards is to encourage home owners and businesses to make improvements to their properties, and to beautify their homes, buildings, store fronts and landscapes located in Pacifica. The Pacifica Beautification Awards Committee (PBAC) will be looking for newer improvements, and well-maintained properties that are visible from the street and enhance the neighborhood. Structural improvement could be new paint/siding, structural changes, retaining walls, roofing, solar, and use of recycled material. Garden or Landscape improvement could be drought tolerant, best maintained, sustainable, edible or native plants, or use of recycled material.

Community members can nominate a residence or business in Pacifica for a Garden/Landscape Award or a Structural Improvement Award or both.
