Pacifica Police To Celebrate 60th Anniversary With Open House
The Saturday event will include tours, K-9 demonstrations and a raffle for youngsters to win rides to school in a police car.
PACIFICA, CA — The Pacifica Police Department will mark its 60th anniversary Saturday with an open house at the station from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Among the planned activities is a raffle with a prize granting five children, through 17 years old, rides to school in a patrol car.
Also on the agenda are station tours with history snippets of the department, demonstrations with K-9 officers and motorcycle crews and meet-and-greets with officers and staff, plus police vehicles on display, according to the agency.

The event will be at the police department at 2075 Coast Highway, with parking available at the Pacifica School District Offices' lot at 375 Reina Del Mar Ave. Follow the driveway from Reina Del Mar Ave. to the staff parking lot.
