Pacifica Police Looking for Fast Food Robber

Police say a man held up a local McDonald's.

Police are looking for a suspect in a robbery that took place at a McDonald’s restaurant in Pacifica Friday night, police have announced.

Police responded to the restaurant at 576 Linda Mar Blvd. in the Linda Mar Shopping Center at about 11:30 p.m. after a report of an armed robbery, police said.

The suspect took an unknown amount of money from the safe after brandishing a firearm at employees, according to police.

The suspect entered through the drive-up window and fled on foot, police said. Police are describing the suspect as a 6-foot tall, 20-year-old dark skinned man with a husky build.

He was wearing a gray hooded jacket, gray pants and a black mask, according to police.

Persons with information about the crime are being asked to call the Pacifica Police Department at (650) 738-7314. Anonymous tips can be left on the Silent Witness Hotline at (650) 359-4444. The case number is 15-0097.
