Pacifica Police Nab Two Suspected Laundromat Thieves
Police say that video surveillance caught them in action.
PACIFICA, CA- Two women have been arrested on suspicion of stealing money and goods from vending machines at a Pacifica laundromat, police say.
San Bruno residents Karen Ebejer, 45, and Jeannette Ellis, 48, were arrested Monday following the burglary initially reported at about 9:50 p.m. Sunday at Laundry Time cleaners at 699 Manor Drive.
Owners of the cleaners gave police video footage of the theft, which occurred while the business was closed, according to police.

Officers were able to identify the suspects as Ebejer and Ellis and went to two separate homes in San Bruno at about 8 p.m. Monday to arrest the pair, police said.
Ebejer and Ellis were booked into San Mateo County Jail on suspicion of burglary, vandalism, criminal conspiracy and possession of stolen property.
