Pacifica Shooting Under Investigation

Police say they found multiple bullet casings on the ground at the scene.

PACIFICA, CA — Pacifica police are looking for any possible witnesses, suspects or evidence related to a recent shooting in town, authorities said Tuesday.

The shooting was reported around 1:45 a.m. Sunday in the 400 Block of Gateway Drive, near Skyline and Hickey boulevards, according to the Pacifica Police Department.

Police said they received "multiple reports of gunshots heard in the area" and when they got to the scene, they found bullet casings on the ground in the roadway.

"An extensive search of the area was conducted for possible witnesses, suspects and any evidence related to this incident," police said in a news release. "There were no reported victims or property damage as a result of the incident."
