Pacifica's Mother's Day Weather: She's Going To Love It!

PACIFICA, CA — This Mother's Day Weekend is shaping up to be a great one on the Peninsula. Forecasters say there will be some strong winds in the nearby communities of the North Bay Mountains, East Bay Hills and Santa Cruz Mountains — but so far the Peninsula is spared from any high wind watches that have been issued.

The National Weather Service says the Bay Area will see "continued seasonably mild conditions Saturday but then cooling into Sunday as a southerly surge impacts the region."

Sunny skies and highs near 60 are expected on Mom's Day in Pacifica, which means it will be a great day to be outside — even if it means you might need a light sweater.

Thursday
Cloudy early, then becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 59. Breezy, with a west northwest wind 18 to 22 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.

Mostly clear, with a low around 50. Breezy, with a west northwest wind 16 to 23 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.

Friday
Sunny, with a high near 63. West northwest wind around 11 mph.

Friday Night
Clear, with a low around 53. Southwest wind 8 to 17 mph becoming north northeast after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 21 mph.

Saturday
Sunny, with a high near 63. North northeast wind 13 to 15 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 18 mph.

Patchy fog after midnight. Otherwise, mostly clear, with a low around 52.
