SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — A Pescadero resident was stabbed on Friday after finding a man sleeping in their bed who'd been barred from entering the home, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office. The man, identified as 23-year-old Christian Uries Arellano-Nevarez, was subsequently arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, vandalism and disobeying a court order.
Deputies responded Friday at 10:10 a.m. to the residence in the 200 block of Butano Cutoff on a report of a stabbing, according to officials. Deputies said the victim found Arellano-Nevarez asleep inside the victim's residence.
"Christian is not allowed to be at the residence due to a current and valid restraining order," the sheriff's office said in a news release. "The victim confronted Christian about his presence and other family issues, and Christian grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the victim."
