Person Knocked To Ground, Robbed Of Cell

A 38-year-old suspect was arrested, San Bruno police said.

SAN BRUNO, CA — A 38-year-old resident from San Jose was arrested Monday for allegedly knocking a person to the ground and stealing the individual's cell phone in San Bruno, according authorities.

Officers were called at 5:44 p.m. to Sneath Lane and Huntington Avenue by the victim, who was pushed down and robbed of the phone and other items, the San Bruno Police Department said.

Investigators identified and arrested Alena Jenkins, as the suspect in the case, the department said. Jenkins was booked at the San Mateo County Jail for charges related to the robbery.

The victim suffered minor injuries, police said.
