Rain, Thunderstorm On The Way! Pacifica's Work Week Forecast
NWS forecasters say it's likely going to be a wet one on the Peninsula.
If you're planning your week on the Peninsula, be sure those plans include an umbrella. Forecasters are calling for rain throughout much of the work week. And though Tuesday is expected to be mostly dry and mild, a change is coming Wednesday.
"A pattern change will bring periods of rain to the region from late Wednesday through the end of the week," the NWS forecast discussion said. "Showers may linger into Saturday, but for the most part the upcoming weekend looks dry."

Today
Mostly cloudy, with a high near 63. East wind 8 to 13 mph.

Tonight
A 30 percent chance of rain after 4am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 51. East wind around 16 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Wednesday
Rain likely, then rain and possibly a thunderstorm after 4pm. High near 60. Southwest wind 6 to 9 mph becoming east in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Wednesday Night
Rain and possibly a thunderstorm before 10pm, then rain likely. Low around 54. South southeast wind 17 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Thursday
A 50 percent chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 62. South wind 15 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
