The San Mateo County Historical Association will present the annual Rancho Day Fiesta on Saturday, September 17, from noon until 4 p.m. at the Sanchez Adobe, 1000 Linda Mar Blvd. in Pacifica. Families will enjoy early California music and participatory dancing. Rancho style refreshments will be available. Demonstration of bygone trades and craft activities for children will be featured. At 2 p.m., there will be a special celebration and ground breaking for a $1.5 million project to improve exhibits and programs at the site.
